Plantation & Cleanliness Drive – A City Comes Together for a Greener Tomorrow
In a heartening display of civic spirit, the Madad Ki Raah Foundation, in collaboration with Nagar Nigam Kanpur, Seva Prakalp, Ith Technologies, the Police Commissioner’s Office, MLC Foundation, and Jagran Institute of Technology, launched a city-wide Plantation & Cleanliness Drive across Kanpur.
More than just a campaign, it was a movement—one that brought together people from all walks of life. Over 5,000 trees were planted in key locations, breathing new life into the city’s green spaces. Meanwhile, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to clean up neglected public areas, promote hygiene, and introduce better ways of managing waste.
This wasn’t just about making the city look better—it was about building a healthier, more sustainable Kanpur. Through educational sessions, awareness rallies, and hands-on participation, the drive reached residents young and old, sparking important conversations about environmental responsibility.
